Been playing for a few hours and the game is ok so far. Edit: And here it is. After 3 days of almost non-stop playing I'm seeing players 5 or 6 times stronger. I understand that some players are better then me, but unless time flows different for them, this is a p2w game. Since we're all limited by the build timers, the only way to get ahead is by using real money. You can still play the game, but it's not fun when you can get crushed by a credit card.
Overall this game is very enjoyable, there is plenty to keep you occupied and it is easy to get the hang of. The gameplay isn't very grindy and is very easy to make progress if you play smart. There are minor tweaks that could improve ease of access with the UI and ant formation energy being a little low, but it is in no way a game breaker. I would highly recommend if you want a game you can play for hours or come back to after your ants have been busy collecting you resources!
Fast paced learning experience. Definitely more difficult than originally thought(2/27/23) 07/17/24 I have been playing this game over a year technically. I have met so many wonderful people from all around on this game. Ads are not an issue. I highly recommend joining an alliance and staying active. However you do need to be active not just login. There are competitions and alot of folks have played this game for a long time. Best game I have ever downloaded
This is the first game like this I have played and I'm not sure if there is another game quite like it. It is really fascinating. The menus, tasks and areas of potential awards are truly like wandering an ant tunnel. The developers are extremely generous with rewards and gifts.. If you have the time, this is a fascinating place to spend it. There are discoveries around every corner. The graphics are beautiful and educational too.. Stick with and learn more about the game AND real ants.
Very addictive game but definitely not for a beginner. You don't need to know anything about ants really, it's a simulation game just with ants. You have to build an anthill and figure the best way to grow, defend yourself and help other hills. It can be quite complex at times, so I wouldn't recommend for young kids, but teens and adults, I find it highly addictive.
