The perfect mobile game. I loved Civilisation on the PC, but it didn't transition well to mobile. Polytopia filled the gap: a mini Civ, ideal for playing on a ten minute train journey cos it doesn't take ten minutes to load, and it's nimble enough to work smoothly on any device. Sure, PC games have more depth and detail, but Polytopia understand better than others how to make a game for mobile. Now do one for Football Manager too!
Polytopia is one of, if not the best mobile game I have ever played. The game play is easy to learn unlike other 4x games on mobile. The tech tree is simple yet complex, the combat is basic but feels like a war, and the expanding of your land is satisfying! It is one thing thing in this game to play against AI but it gets really fun with friends, you can play pass and play or even online. You do have to purchase a tribe for online, but with no ads and a awesome game, that's a small price to pay.
Very fun game. Cute units, fast paced, terrific turn-based mechanics. I like that I can fight 5-6 opponents at a time when I unlock them, but I wish the map could be bigger for matches with 4+, the enemies don't have enough space to develop when butted up against each other and aren't real threats because of this
Great game. Probably gonna get it on steam too. The mechanics are fun, it runs amazingly (except when it doesnt), and the artstyle is very good. Only problem is sometimes it crashes, but thats not too big of an issue since you can resume games (though sometimes the game just keeps crashing whenever you try to open it. Please fix this)
Yep..No joke. This game is fun. This is like chess but with more perps. The graphics and lighting are fine. What i like about this game, especially domination mode, that if you lose, you learn your mistakes and you adapt. The more you play the more you learn about the enemy's strategy. My tip is to be patient and take it slowly. I downloaded this 2 days ago and i was upset cuz i can't even win a single match in easy mode so i deleted it .Then i downloaded again and played more games and i won.
The game is addicting, time consuming and overall its very good. I've been an avid player of polytopia ever since 2018. Also it would be better if you would add some features like allowing the player to create his/her map. Also it would be better if each civilization had it's own very unique heroes with unique skills rather than the default giants.
Fun game, nice that it can be played without spending, and if you do buy something it's not a ridiculous price. I sometimes tire of the notifications, things that slow me down in the game, I'm trying to move forward and the app stops the show to tell me what I just did. Especially at the end. You just defeated Bardur! Okay. Blah blah blah! Okay. You are the winner! Yeah I kind of figured that. Lol
This game is just awesome one of the best ones I've installed so far. At first I didn't get the gist but as time passes by I already know the goal of it. Would like to have a LAN Multiplayer gamemode so that you can play it with your friends, nonetheless I'd recommend you guys (to those who are reading the reviews) to give it a shot, it doesn't necessarily need Internet connection to play it and it's a totally ad-free turn-based strategy game.
