Fun game worth the subscription but fun without. Lots of ways to gain experience and level up you're stuff. Never had any glitches or game crashes while playing. Only issue was using the 180 degree button taking me out the game but I was quick enough to relaunch game and pickup where I left off. Also like that you dont have to win the race to gain experience or the five stars.
it's a legitamate mario kart game. i forgot about battle mode until i played this. great work!
At first the controls can be alittle weird. But after playing it for a bit you can get used to em and it makes the experience alittle bit more enjoyable. It's pretty fun there's chllanges to get extra stars to go to the next circuit there's 50cc or 150cc or the new 200cc which u can play if u have the gold pass you can add friend's for when multiplayer comes out. You'll see tracks from every Mario kart game so there's nostalgia. definitely didn't expect to enjoy it so much
It's great that Nintendo quickly fixed most of the problems that this game had when trying to launch it, now that I finally got to play the game I fully recommend it. Every time I race I get a feeling of nostalgia and fun like being a kid again. The battle pass system can be a little overpowered when it comes to the ranked and tiers points but I believe that it can be reached as a free-to-play... with a lot of time put into the game of course. I hope to see Luigi soon :)
A great stripped down version of the classic series. Although steering isn't as intuitive and precise as what you would expect from the console versions, it holds up well for it's simplicity once you get the hang of it. It will be nice to see how well multiplayer works in the future, already have a friend list building up in anticipation!
TL;DR While this is not your average Mario Kart, this is still a very fun and exciting new experience. Mario Kart Tour (MKT) is a very very dumbed down Mario Kart experience compared to other games, but considering it's a mobile game, it's phenomenal! The controls - while a bit too minimal - are very simple and easy to use; Track selection is great so far, though a bit limited; graphics are good, no where near Switch obv; the Gold Pass is a bit much but not needed. Great game even for free.
Super fun and a surprisingly deep game. For a mobile cart of a great game it's really cool. Lots of stuff to add and deepen your experience. The only thing that sucks is youncsn race with your friends on fb. Once you get a hang of the drifting and controls its super fun. The prices on the shop for rubies are way too high though. Hope they keep brining more levels.
Edit: They have answered my concerns. 👏🏼 ***** First impressions are that the graphics and racing is good. But, THE LACK OF LANSCAPE MODE REALLY HOLDS THIS GAME BACK in my opinion, amongst some of the other issues the game may have. The controls are really botched and it makes racing not so fun to an extent. Racing games like this aren't really meant to be played in portrait and that is a let down. Introduce it in landscape and coupled with the gyro steering, this would be much more enjoyable.
